2nd grade traveled to Kearney the Firefighters Museum. Students learned about fire gear, fire safety, and fire history. Students also engaged in some fun firefighter dress up/play.

DCS placed 4th in Division 4 League of Legends after losses against Bancroft-Rosalie and SEM. It was a great season!


NOW we get to start our first round at state!


The DCS Esports team has stormed into Seward for competition, but due to tornado warnings, the tournament is running behind schedule. Division 4 League of Legends will NOT be starting at 3:30 pm CT with the start time yet to be determined.

You're invited to the FBLA & FCCLA Year-End Celebration that will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. MT. Honors, awards, officer installations and farewell to seniors will be celebrated. See you there!

The 3rd and 4th graders were able to enjoy the Environmental Festival at Swanson Reservoir. Students learned about foresters, decomposing trees, animal tracks, trees, peppermint beetles 😉, and fires.








Sometimes going to the principal's office isn't all bad!

Congratulations to the DCS Men's Golf Team on placing 2nd at the Garden County Invitational Meet yesterday! Individual placing were 5th- Owen Mathews, 6th-Dante Horner, 8th- Austin Sydow, 9th- Brodie Rogers! Good luck in the upcoming Conference and District Meets!

In honor of Earth Day, second graders learned how important earthworms are for the earth and created a habitat for them to observe how they tunnel underground. This section of photos depicts students making observations about them.
