DCS high school students telling their story to the School Improvement (External)Team today. Their voice is important. They are the reason we do what we do.

Blake Emig falls in the first round at State. He wrestled well. The DCS family was supporting him from the school. Blake wrestles again tomorrow. Good luck Blake.

Good morning!! We WILL start school at 10:00 however busses may run snow routes (they will let you know). If it isn't safe for you to drive don't! Please call and let secretaries know so we don't worry!

School Improvement Visitation at DCS is off and running. What a great external team we have. Todd Wolverton has a wonderful group of experts here to review what we do as a school, offer advice, and commend us on our strengths.
Thanks to everyone who was able to brave the weather tonight and help us start telling our story.

Starting our presentation

We will have a two-hour late start tomorrow morning, February 16th. Hopefully the snow cooperates and quits at 11 pm like forecast! Stay safe and warm!!

I want to take a moment to congratulate our girl's basketball team for a season of growth. Their season ended last night at the D-9 Sub District in a hard-fought game against Wallace. This post is not about that. I want the team to know that I appreciate their never give up attitude no matter what the odds. Last night we started with two players hurt and not suiting up. Then a starter went down early in the game. Our team did not quit. Girls who have not played much varsity stepped in and played their hearts out while on the floor. Our girl's never say die attitude is what Tiger Pride is about. Hold your heads high as you are shining examples of what it means to be a Dundy County Stratton Tiger. Roar Tigers!!!

Boys Subdistricts will be hosted at DCS. Bracket below
