16 JH & HS FFA members were able to attend Edge Conference today in Curtis. Edge is State FFA Officer led workshops centered around leadership and personal growth through student involvement in FFA. So excited to see these members apply what they learned to our chapter!





4th 5th and 6th grade musical recess.


Forward-thinking and critical thinkers are being developed in this Dundy County Stratton Middle School STEM class. The purpose of the activity? To design a new STEM/STEAM lab that supports the needs of the learners while operating within an established budget. So many lessons here. Great mindsweat and cognitive gymnastics on display.









JH volleyball game on Thursday Sept 28th will be played in Ovid not Julesburg. Time will remain the same at 4pm.

How about those working trades and relevant skills. Welding, woodworking, etc. it all has purpose.




Tiger Family Pride. The Lutz siblings and two others; Randy Fasso and Dante Horner were all recognized at today's assembly. You are all great ambassadors for our school. Thanks for your selflessness.


That was fun! Friday celebration was held today. We honored five new VIPs and recognized six more students for outstanding character and dispositions. Mrs. Jacobitz was given a Staff Recognition Award by several students in her classes for her efforts to help them learn. We are telling our story! We are Tigers!! We are proud!!!










On Monday night (9-25) during Parent Teacher Conferences we are inviting all District Patrons to a community viewing of some of the ideas from the long-term Facility Plan the school board had commissioned. We are seeking input in an informal viewing at both the Elementary and the High School. Come and eat a free hot dog meal and give us some input!! 3-8 pm Elementary, 4-8 pm High School.


September 18th - 23rd is NSAA Fall Officials Appreciation Week. DCS showed our appreciation last night! #NSAARespectTheRef @nsaahome. Bob G. and Renelle M. were our volleyball officials and Kelen F. Bryson F. Jack B. Gary W. and Matthew M. for football!!

It's Conference time! We will hold parent-Teacher Conferences on Monday, September 25. Elementary is scheduled from 3:00PM until 8:00PM. The High School will run from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. We will be serving hotdogs and chips and hope to see you there.


FYI for today's JH game at Wauneta-Palisade Schools. With the intersection of Vinita and Shawnee Streets being temporarily closed, this map shows the best route for spectators to use to get to the school and park for the volleyball game.
