Congratulations and welcome Taos D. who was elected by the students to represent their interests at the school board level. He will serve as Senior Student Board Representative. You will be a great leader and advocate.

Congratulations to Kylee Forch who received the staff recognition of merit for her contributions to this year's volleyball team. She stepped in when Coach Zoltenko was out and the girls showed great growth. Thanks Kylee.

It is with heavy hearts that we share that Erika Brown, the mother of 3 of our 8th grade students died yesterday. Classes will continue on a normal schedule, but students and staff needing support will have access to the Crisis team. If you are concerned about your child please reach out to the school and we will do our best to support them. Our deepest collective condolences are extended to her family and friends.

Congratulations to the 2023 Homecoming Queen and King: Abigail Foster and Derek Noffsinger.

Shoutout to tonight's Striv team for making the stream of the football game against Axtell available for our viewers. Thanks guys!! #dcstigers

Homecoming at DCS is about family. Blind volleyball, pep rally, and the parade set the stage for an epic Friday night after a great week at our school.
