Reminder: 7th-12th graders are required to have a school physical before participating in athletic contests per the NSAA. Any physical taken May 1 or after will be valid for the 2025-2026 school year. Students may not practice until physical is completed and brought to the office. Physicals can be picked up in the office or printed of the school website.

Today is the kickoff of the "Nationals season". Klayton and Emma will compete today and tomorrow at HOSA in Nashville. Kim and Avery will be in Aneheim for FBLA leaving June 27. Lexie, Kiley, Klayton, and Emma will be in Orlando for FCCLA leaving July 4. Good luck to these national participants.

Last week, our DCS Cheerleaders held a two-day UCA Cheer Camp. They worked extremely hard and learned a lot of new material. As a result of their hard work, they earned two Superior Squad ratings in two separate evaluations. Congratulations go out to Captain Avery and Junior Captain Zoey as they earned All-American honors. This camp kicks off our Cheer Year and we are excited! Go Tigers!

What can you say about the number 60? This is the total number of years these ladies have given to education. Mrs. Fox gave the district 37 years and Mrs. Downey 21 with 2 additional years. We are so thankful for their dedication and will miss them greatly. Congratulations on your retirement Mrs. Fox and Mrs. Downey!!

The summer lunch food program is under way with kids enjoying the lunch at Dundy County Elementary school this summer. kids 0-18 are welcome to come eat from 11-12 pm Monday -Thursday at no cost.
