FBLA will be grilling up a storm of hamburgers and hot dogs at the concession stand during the Twilight Track Meet on Friday, May 9 starting at 11:30 am through the end of the meet. Dundy County Stratton 7th - 12th grades are participating in a community clean-up project on Wednesday, May 7th. Staff and students will be walking around Benkelman picking up trash in the afternoon. Way to go DCS...keeping Benkelman beautiful!
Congratulations to Mrs. Jeanne Downey! Through her 23 years of teaching, Mrs. Downey has taught in our district for 21 years. She has taught in Stratton Elementary, Benkelman Elementary, and also at DCS Jr/Sr High School. She was also a long time substitute teacher for our district. Hello everyone! We wanted to give you a quick update on the FFA Greenhouse's hours of operation. We're now open on weekdays until 6 PM and on Saturdays until 1 PM.
This change is to support our seniors during their final week of school, the DCS Twilight Track Meet on Friday, Graduation on Saturday, and all the busy activities in May. If you can't make it during our new hours, feel free to email us at kmues@dcstigers.org to set up an appointment—we're happy to work with you!
