Girls Sub-District Basketball FINALS vs. Hitchcock County 5:30 p.m. (Admission Fee Required)
Thank you to everyone who has supported the CTSO Nancy Mossburgh Scholarship Cake Raffle throughout the Basketball Season. Today there will be one last cake raffle for the season. Tickets will be sold during the BOYS GAME. Sales will end at the start of the 4th quarter. Winners will be announced at the end of the Boys Game and cakes can be picked up in the Commons Area.
Tagen and Laken each get a win in the 1st round of consolations. Laken will wrestle again in 2nd round consolations. Tagen will pass through to wrestle in the heartbreaks starting at 5:00 MT/6:00 CT.

Boys basketball game vs Med Valley on Friday (2/21) will be free admission. At the conclusion of the boys game, the gym will be cleared and reopened for the girls D2-9 sub-district final. Admission for the girls game will be Adults $6.00 and Children $5.00. Everyone must pay including DCS students. NSAA and Media passes only.
DCS will have a 10:00 a.m. Late Start on Thursday, February 20. There will be no Pre-K class and buses will run accordingly.
JH boys and girls Wauneta Booster Basketball Tournament Saturday 2/22:
Girls will play in the new gym and boys in the old gym. Schedule is the same for both.
Hitchcock County at 9 and Wauneta-Palisade at 10AM MT.

D2-9 Sub-district games are being moved to Thursday and Friday.

Game 2: Hitchcock Co vs Wallace at 5:30 PM MT/6:30 PM CT
Game 3: Will be on Friday with a projected tip off time of 5:30 pm
DCS will have NO SCHOOL on Wednesday, February 19. The D2-9 GBB Sub-District games are postponed and will be played on Thursday & Friday, 02/20 & 21/2025.
There will be no school on Tuesday, Feb 18. The Sub-District basketball game has been postponed until a later date. Stay warm!!

Updates to National FFA Week 2025
Unfortunately due to the extremely cold temperatures and snow, we have made adjustments to the activities for National FFA Week. Tractor Day has been postponed to National AG Week in March. Pickup Judging has been swapped with the emblem hunt and is rescheduled for Friday. We will make any more adjustments as needed.
