Leadership Development Events Day #1
Today we had 15 Junior High and 9 High School members compete in Curtis!
The JH competed well in Ag Quiz Bowl with team #4 placing 11th out of 30+ teams.
Conduct of Chapter Meetings (Freshmen group: Gary, Maelee, Reid, Esmaye, Char, Kirah, and Tristi) received a Red Ribbon.
Natural Resources Speaking (Aiden): received a blue ribbon.
Jr Public Speaking (Ava): received a purple ribbon.
Overall it was a very successful day and although we didn’t have any state qualifiers, we are extremely proud of our members for stepping out of their comfort zones! Many of the HS members had never competed in an LDE and did a great job for their first time! Next round of competitions is on January 21st!

Congratulations to Emma! Yesterday she attended the 2025 Commissioner's Recognition Ceremony at the State Capitol, where she was recognized as 1 of only 4 Nebraska HOSA members for placing in the top 10 finalists in her event during HOSA ILC last summer! She had the opportunity to meet the Commissioner of Education, Brian Maher and Nebraska Governor, Jim Pillen.
