DCS Lady Tigers are headed to the RPAC finals. They beat MHC in the West division finals in 4 sets. DCS will play tomorrow night at 6pm mt at GRAFF event Center in McCook.

The DCS FFA would like to thank all of our local producers by supplying each of our local grain elevators with Harvest Snack Bags for you! Thank you for feeding the world and supporting our local programs! Bags are now at both Benkelman locations and will be ready to go in Stratton tomorrow morning (10/21)! If you know anyone that is not headed into town with their crop, please let us know, we have saved 20 bags for those that are storing at home!

A HUGE thank you to everyone that came out to our annual Labor Auction tonight! We had a total of 45 member auctioned off and so many great buyers and community members that showed their support!

DCS FFA had a great morning in Trenton today checking off the first task of the Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation's Connecting Chapters program! Next we get to read an Ag Literacy book and teach a lesson to an elementary classroom, and finally connect with our County Farm Bureau. After we complete all of the tasks our chapter we be recognized at the state convention in March!

Congratulations to Esmaye for earning a free jacket from the Nebraska FFA Foundation through the "Blue Jackets. Bright Futures." Campaign/Scholarship. Esmaye wrote about the symbolic meaning of the jacket to her, her future goals within FFA and the growth along the way. Esmaye was 1 of 257 (many more applied) members to receive a jacket this year, and the sole recipient from Dundy Co. Stratton. Congratulations Esmaye!

We are hosting the RPAC volleyball tournament on Thursday, October 16. To accommodate this, Dundy County Stratton Schools will be dismissing at 1:00 pm. Buses will run accordingly and there will be no preschool.
