After the dust settled...the Sophomore Class 1 emerged as the winners of the school song video contest. Congratulations to all of those who participated and thanks for taking the time to vote. The reward for the winners will be announced tomorrow at our Friday Family gathering.

Tiger Announcement: Due to low numbers, Medicine Valley has forfeited the Varsity Football Game against the DCS Tigers that was to be played on Friday, September 23.


Patrons and families of@dcstigers students should ask their elementary or Grade 9 and Grade 10 how they did on their MAP (Measure of Academic Progress) tests this week. They take these at various grade levels throughout the year and are immediately able to see their test scores.

Medicine Valley has been forced to forfeit this contest due to several injuries and unforeseen challenges.
DCS will go uncontested and will WIN the game.

Kenedy Bailey finished with a near- season best 115 at the Ogallala meet today! Great job Kennedy!


Congratulations to Payton Nelson! She will represent the DCS Chapter of FFA this weekend in Grand Island at the Aksarben Livestock Show. She will be showing two Southdown market lambs and three breeding lambs; one babydoll and two Southdowns. good job Payton and good luck.


DCS Junior High hosted Wauneta Palisade today. The ladies played well and continue to improve.





We learned how to properly put out a fire at Ag Safety Day!

The 6th grade worked on making woven rugs made from t-shirts using Hula Hoops as the frame . Thank you to all those that donated the t-shirts for us to use!





Dundy County Stratton FFA sent 37 members to represent our school at Husker Harvest Days last Wednesday in Wood River, NE.
