Axtell Holiday Tournament Update: Girls will take on Grand Island Lutheran tomorrow (12/31) at 3:00pm mt and boys will play Chambers-Wheeler Central at 4:30 pm mt both for the championship.

Looking back over the last 4 months, I have to wonder where the time went. I want all students to think about the accomplishments they have achieved and be ready to raise the bar in the new year. One accomplishment we want to celebrate is Jasper Foster. Jasper graduated at semester and will be leaving soon to attend basic training with the US Army in Fort Benning, GA. DCS wants to say congratulations to him and wish him well over the next 24 weeks.

NSAA Sports Moratorium December 24-28. All DCS buildings will be closed during that time.

A few of our HOSA officers had the opportunity to spread some Christmas cheer! We colored and delivered holiday cards to the residents at the Sarah Ann Hester Home in Benkelman yesterday. Merry Christmas from the DCS HOSA Chapter!

Adeya and Kirah were 2nd today in McCook.

The votes are in! We held a fun Door Decorating Competition at DCS Elementary and our district staff got to be our judges! Thank you to everyone who voted and participated in the fun! Congratulations to our winners!

These three have been selected for the UNK Honor Choir (Alyssa and Diego) and Honor Band (Selah). Alyssa has also been selected for the Nebraska Wesleyan Honor Choir and the National Honor Choir at Concordia. Congratulations to them and enjoy your time at your experiences.

Congratulations to Clara for signing to run at Northern Arizona University. We look forward to seeing how far you can go.

Axtell Holiday Tournament 2025:
December 30th, DCS girls and boys play Axtell. Girls start at 12:00pm MT with boys to follow.
Brackets are in central time.

No boys JV basketball tomorrow (12/16), JV girls will only play 2 quarters starting at 3:30pm mt and will roll straight into the varsity games.
