2nd grade had the opportunity to spend the day in the life of a pilgrim. They completed pilgrim activities such as fishing, hunting, building, sewing, and quilting.

Fifth grade learned many interesting Thanksgiving facts during an escape room challenge. Thankfully, they all completed the challenge and were able to escape for Thanksgiving break!




Last Thursday, we had 30 FFA members compete in our first set of contests: Agriscience, Livestock Judging, and Natural Resources. Many students came hime with ribbons. We have MANY new faces coming in and doing great!

DCS FFA - 10 of our members attended the McCook Farm & Ranch Expo last Friday! We were able to meet and network with local businesses. Huge thanks to Darren and Tana for inviting us and for your work in preparation of both the expo and the FFA auction!

Friday Celebration: Lots to celebrate but lots of people gone for activities. We gave out Student of the mMonth honors to Jen F. and Ely Troutman. Three staff members received certificates for merit in Aleta N. , Kayla M., and Sharon A. VIP honors went to Reid, Derek, Laynee, Leslie, Klayton, Benton, JBJ, Austin, and Bacilio. Great job everyone!
