Pumpkin Patch Part 1: On Wednesday, preschool and 2nd grade had the wonderful opportunity of visiting the pumpkin patch. The kids enjoyed every minute there. The best part of their day was helping Tammi, our bus driver, slingshot her pumpkin!

I was observing an AG class today and a whole lot of fun broke out. The students were ranking items based upon characteristics. This process emulates judging species in livestock judging and was the learning target for Ms. Mues’ class today. Great job!

FFA members and students in the Elem. HAL Program, attended a presentation by Amberley Snyder, America's only paralyzed professional barrel racer. Following high school graduation, Amberley was involved in a rollover accident, causing her to lose mobility in her legs, however, through the difficulties, she was still able to get back in the saddle, and begin riding again. Today she spoke with students about overcoming obstacles and helping others when they are facing trying times. Amberley is the true story behind the Netflix movie Walk Ride Rodeo. Thank you to MPCC for hosting this inspirational speaker.
