
The nurses at the hospital challenged the seniors in an ice bucket challenge and Christy Freeling provided a message about mental health.






It's been a busy 2 weeks. We spent an afternoon cleaning up the town. Pinnacle Bank provided the idea, water, gloves, and bags. Dundy County Hospital provided ice cream when they finished.





It was DARE graduation day for fifth grade. Thanks Officer Jones for educating our students!

The third graders finished reading Because of Winn-Dixie and celebrated with a movie party! They enjoyed snacks just like the ones from the story, making the experience even more special. It was a fun way to wrap up their reading and bring the book to life!






Aylin and Stella have reached 100 AR points—an impressive milestone in their reading journey. Reading walks are messy, but fun!!



NOTICE OF SCHOOL BOARD VACANCY:
The Dundy County Stratton School Board has a vacancy created by a resignation accepted May 12, 2025. The term expires in January of 2029. The board is accepting applications by interested district residents until the Friday prior (June 6, 2025) to the June board meeting on June 9, 2025.

Last week fifth grade made solar ovens and yesterday we tested them by making smores.







Thanks to Officer Jones and Officer Lucci for being with the 5th grade this afternoon so they could experience using the impairment goggles for DARE class.
