We wrapped up our plant unit with a hands-on STEM activity that brought everything together in a fun (and creative!) way! 🌱
Students used different vegetables to design and build their own “plants,” making sure to include all the important parts we’ve been learning about—roots, stems, leaves, and more. As they built, they also explained the function of each plant part and why it’s important—like how roots absorb water, stems support the plant and move nutrients, and leaves help make food.
It was a great way to review plant structures and their functions while also encouraging problem-solving and creativity.
So proud of the thought and effort they put into their veggie creations! 🥕🌽🌿
