SENIORS and SENIOR PARENTS: Please turn in or e-mail to Mrs. Fox (lfox@dcstigers.org) FOUR baby/growing up pictures and TWO senior poses that will be included in the PowerPoint presentation shown at graduation. All seniors will have a slide included in the presentation. There is no cost to be a part of the slideshow.

 

The Dundy County Senior Center Handibus will not be in operation on Monday February 6. The bus will be running on schedule Tuesday February 7.

 

FBLA, FFA, and FCCLA chapter pictures for the newspapers, yearbook, powerpoints, and scrapbooks will be taken Thursday beginning at 11:45am in the gym. FFA members and officers please wear an FFA t-shirt. FBLA and FCCLA officers please wear your officer polos. FBLA and FCCLA members please wear a chapter t-shirt.

 

FBLA, FFA, and FCCLA members & Faculty and Staff members: You are invited to the CSO appreciation breakfast on Tuesday, February 7. Serving will begin at 7:15am and end at 7:50am in the Commons Area. The menu is pancakes, eggs, sausage, and juice.

 

FBLA is doing a competition between classes for the March of Dimes. There will be jars in the library for grades 7-12 and the school faculty. A penny in a jar means that group's balance goes up by one. A Silver coin in a jar means that the balance decreases by the number of cents that coin is worth (i.e. dime=-10, quarter=-25) a person can add coins to any jar. The class with the highest balance will win.

 

The winning class gets a no-assignment class period in:

 

7th or 8th grade: Math

Freshmen: Info Tech

Sophomores: S.S. 10

Juniors: American History

Seniors: Government

 

The competition will end on February 10th at noon

 

FAFSA Completion Day February 27th & 28th @ McCook High School Guidance Office.

Please call EducationQuest at 800-666-3721 to set up an appointment. Appointments are required to receive help that day. EducationQuest Foundation, a free non-profit organization is coming to help you complete and file your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

 

Sugar Shack candles are being sold at discounted prices. 16-oz candles $11.00; 8-oz candles $6.00; votives $3.00; tarts $2.00; and air fresheners $2.00. Many fragrances available. Cash and carry only. If you are interested, please see Mrs. Parker. All proceeds will go towards the Mossburgh Memorial Scholarship.

 

FBLA has a few honey bears left. They are $3.00 each.

 

Tired of watching Basketball, football, volleyball or any sporting events without a padded seat? Let the DCS FCCLA fundraiser help you with this problem! Dundy County Stratton FCCLA is selling stadium seats for 2011-2012. We have two different sizes: small ($50) and large ($55). Each seat has the Dundy County Stratton Logo on it. If you would like to see stadium seats, please stop in and see Mrs. Lori Rettele at the high school. Susie's Creative Stiches will personalize the seat for $3.00. Thanks, Mrs. Lori Rettele
