Sophomore
class meeting TODAY at 2:20 p.m. in the High School Computer Lab.
JH Girls and Boys
will have Memory Mates taken Friday Sept. 10th @ 12:00pm.
Girls will be at the Elementary for pictures and Boys will be at the HS.
Senior Class will take a group picture on September 21st at 8:05am
MT. Bus will leave from the HS.
The Sophomore Class of 2013 is raising money to help fund
their junior prom. They are currently selling magazine subscriptions now
through Monday, September 13. Please help support the sophomores in their
fund-raising efforts. If the sophomores miss you in their sales period,
you can still go shopping and/or renew your
magazine subscriptions online at
www.gafundraising.com throughout the entire school year. Click on the
“ONLINE STORE CLICK HERE TO SUPPORT YOUR SCHOOL” button and enter the school’s
ID – 1857317 and simply follow the prompt and instructions on the
screen. In addition to the 650+ magazines there are also over 400 other
items to choose from. Thanks for supporting the Class of 2013!

DCS HS Fall
Sport Athletes: You may still order football, volleyball, cross country,
cheerleading, and girls golf memory mate pictures. Please give the
completed order form and money to Mrs. Parker. Order forms are available
from Mrs. Parker. If you have questions, see Mrs. Parker.
Sept. 17th
is the deadline to register for the ACT test. Register online at
www.actstudent.org.
UNL will only accept scores sent from ACT. If you are considering UNL,
make sure you list it as a college choice! DCS # is 280-230. –Mrs.

2010-2011 Girl Scout sign up at the Benkelman Park on Thursday September 9th
at 5:30pm MT. Grades:
K-12
are eligible for Girl Scouts. In case of inclement weather, goto Scout House
north of pool.
Mock Trial Case Preparation; Rehearsal every Tuesday, Thursday 7:30am MT
September through November 2010.
Locks are now available for high school lockers. If interested stop by the
office. No outside locks are permitted.
Juniors and Seniors will attend a college fair in McCook on Tuesday September 14th.
Bus will leave at 9:30am MT and return around 3:00pm MT. Juniors and

New students need to see Mrs. Fox to set up a Network account for computer &
e-mail use.
All 7-12 students need to log on to the network sometime in the next week to
make sure their network account is still working. Send an e-mail to Mrs.

with user logon information including User name and Password that works.
If you would like a different password, send that in the e-mail message with
your account information. The subject line of your e-mail should read:

Accident Insurance Forms are available at all school buildings. If you are
not interested in purchasing, please sign declination and return to office.

the dance with your child or make arrangements to drop it off at the school
prior to the dance.
Need volunteers for the

-Painting – Sep 7 & 8 after
school in the shop loft (bring paint brushes all sizes)
-Posters – need spirit
posters for decorating the commons
-Coolers with ice – for the
dance
-Set up food tables for
dance at half time
